The Carmel Foundation, celebrating its 75th year of service, is inviting new members, long-time members, and those curious about joining to its upcoming New Member Orientation on Wednesday, January 29, 2:30pm. The event, held in Diment Hall on the Foundation campus located at 8th & Lincoln in Carmel, provides an opportunity to explore the Foundation’s wide range of programs and services, designed to enrich the lives of seniors aged 55 and better across Monterey County and beyond.
Attendees will learn about the Foundation’s offerings, including their luncheon program, free mobility equipment loans, lending library, Saturday movies and over 60 classes and activities each week. The Foundation will also introduce its Support Services Department that helps seniors navigate the complex world of senior services with information and partnering agencies. In addition to learning about the programs, attendees will hear from Foundation Directors about new classes and services launching in 2025. The orientation will also include information on volunteer opportunities, a guided campus tour, and a chance to connect with other members of the community.
As a special highlight, participants will be entered into a prize drawing.
The Carmel Foundation has been dedicated to facilitating successful aging for 75 years offering programs and services that empower seniors to thrive in a supportive and welcoming environment.
The program is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact the Foundation at 624.1588 or visit carmelfoundation.org.
