The Carmel Foundation is pleased to welcome award-winning pastry chef Molly Coen, Executive Pastry Chef at Carmel Valley Ranch and recent winner of Food Network's The Ultimate Baking Championship, for a special Wednesday Program on Wednesday, July 29, at 2:30 p.m. in Diment Hall.
The free program is open to the public, with complimentary refreshments served.
Known throughout the Monterey Peninsula for her artistry and creativity, Coen will share the remarkable journey that took her from leading the pastry program at Carmel Valley Ranch to competing—and ultimately winning—on national television. Guests will get a behind-the-scenes look at what it's really like to compete on a televised baking competition, hear stories from the set, and learn about the passion, precision, and innovation that define the art of pastry.
Whether you're an avid baker, a devoted foodie, or simply enjoy hearing inspiring stories from accomplished local professionals, this engaging presentation promises to be both entertaining and delicious.
The Carmel Foundation's popular Wednesday Programs bring together experts, authors, artists, and community leaders to share ideas, experiences, and topics of interest with the community. The programs are free and open to everyone.
