About Us

Sunset Cultural Center, Inc. (SCC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) that was formed in 2003 to manage the historic Sunset Community and Cultural Center. Built as a public school in 1926, Sunset Center now includes a state-of-the-art performing arts center with an intimate 718-seat theater, stunning gothic architecture and incredible acoustics. Aside from the 150+ theater events each season, we also administer a comprehensive outreach and arts education effort, curate two art galleries, as well as a variety of function space for lectures, meetings and weddings.
