Carmel Bistro Giovanni is located on San Carlos between 5th and 6th Street in Carmel by the Sea. The restaurant opened 17 years ago. Carmel Bistro Giovanni is a warm, comfortable and casual restaurant with booth seating throughout with a feel of Tuscany created by dark orange and golden tones. The menu contains authentic Italian cuisine, fresh seafood and steaks. A few of our guests favorites are our Grandma's Gnocchi in a rich creamy white sauce, Mama's Bolognese which is a classic dish of ground beef sauce over fettuccini. Seafood lovers will love the Pescetori, a medley of fresh seafood tossed with garlic, white wine and linguine and also the Halibut with a picatta sauce that rivals no other. Carmel Bistro Giovanni has a full bar and an extensive wine list. We are dog friendly with indoor and outdoor seating.
