Awesome Assistant Manager Needed

Looking for:
*Outstanding customer service skills
*A genuine love for dogs
*Energetic and positive attitude
*Strong attention to detail
*Dependable and punctual (a must!)

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

*Assists the Store Manager in the overall operation of the store
*At the direction of the Store Manager, supervises sales associates
*Assists in merchandising the store
*Responsible for overseeing special orders
*Prepares weekly schedule
*Checks and responds to emails
*Oversees and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the store
*Checks merchandise to determine inventory levels and anticipating customer demand
*Trains new employees
*Participates in other duties as assigned

Requirements / Desired Qualifications:
*High School diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred
*Minimum of 8 years in retail / customer service field
*Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
*Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
*Strong leadership qualities; training and team building skills
*Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays is required
*Ability to stand for several hours, bend and squat down, and lift up to 25lbs.
*Merchandising experience and/or social media (Instagram, FB, Tik Tok) a HUGE plus!
