Stilwell Hotel, a thoughtfully designed boutique property in the heart of Carmel-bythe- Sea, is seeking a Guest Service Associate to join our evening Front Desk team. This role is essential in shaping the guest experience, creating a warm, polished, and
memorable stay from arrival through departure.
As a Guest Service Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality with an attentive, friendly, and efficient approach. You will serve as a key point of contact for our guests—welcoming them to the property, anticipating needs, and ensuring each interaction reflects the relaxed luxury and personalized service that define the Stilwell experience.
This position requires an outgoing and engaging personality, strong attention to detail, and a natural sense of ownership. Evening shifts are dynamic and require the ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and work independently while maintaining a calm and professional presence. A sense of urgency during peak periods, paired with thoughtful guest interaction, is essential.
We operate as a close knit, team oriented environment, and this role will support not only Front Desk operations but also collaborate with our café, guest services, and housekeeping teams to ensure a seamless overall experience.
Ideal candidates will have prior hospitality or guest service experience, a genuine passion for creating meaningful guest connections, and an appreciation for the unique charm and pace of Carmel-by-the-Sea.
Compensation:
$20–$24 per hour, based on experience
