This month’s featured Short Share guest speaker is Kim Lawson, owner of Stardust Gifts & Glitz, who will share her business journey.

Kim Lawson is a Carmel-based entrepreneur, creative producer, and community advocate.  She is the owner of Fashion Trade Retro in Monterey and Stardust Gifts & Glitz in Carmel, two retail spaces known for their distinctive blend of community collaboration and unique events.  Kim earned a post-graduate degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology and holds a bachelor's degree in Child and Family Services from the California State University, Bakersfield.  Prior to starting her retail businesses, she worked in the field of behavior therapy,  providing services to children and adults with disabilities.  Kim is also a U.S. Army Veteran.  

Today, she brings that same people-centered philosophy into all she does, creating welcoming environments that foster creativity, inspiration, and connection within the community.
