Carmel Mission Inn’s Shearwater Tavern is introducing two special seasonal cocktails plus a Thanksgiving feast!
The aptly named Sweater Weather is made with a mix of Monkey Shoulder scotch, Lustau sherry, chocolate bitters and walnuts.
Seasons in Normandy uses Calvados, a brandy from Normandy, France, as its base, mixed with dry vermouth and apple cider.
Both are sure to please the palate and warm the body!
For Thanksgiving, the restaurant’s holiday menu features butternut squash ravioli served with wild mushrooms, wilted arugula and celery root; and a traditional turkey plate with sides of mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy and haricorts vert.
These dishes, along with the regular menu, will be served on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 27, starting at 3 p.m. with the last seating at 8 p.m.
Shearwater Tavern is open to the public, and hotel guests who dine there also receive a free happy hour item with an additional purchase, Tuesday through Saturday, 4 to 6 p.m.
