Team Beesley Mixer at Herbert Hoover's Summer Lodge

Team Beesley / Keller Williams hosts this special Chamber Mixer at Herbert Hoover’s Summer Lodge in Monterey. Mix and mingle with business owners and community leaders while enjoying Crossroads BBQ, wine from Scheid Vineyards, and music from the Sea Dogs.

The Herbert Hoover Summer Lodge on Martin Street in Monterey was used as a hunting lodge and vacation retreat for Hoover and his family. One interesting feature inside the home is a growth chart on a wall in Hoover’s handwriting marking how tall Hoover's growing sons were. 

Lou Henry met Herbert Hoover at Stanford University and they later married at the bride’s parents' home on Pacific Street in Monterey in 1899. Lou later purchased the Henry Hoover Summer Lodge from her parents before Hoover became a U.S. President from 1929-1933.
