Talk, Walk & Celebrate Creativity with Artist Elizabeth Murray
Join artist Elizabeth Murray for an inspiring afternoon celebrating art, nature, and creative renewal.
From 1:00–2:00 p.m. in Diment Hall, Elizabeth will reflect on 40 years of photographing Monet’s Gardens in Giverny and their profound influence on both Monet’s work and her own. After joining the garden restoration team in 1985, she has returned annually to photograph, write, paint, and teach.
Following her illustrated talk, she will lead a walk-through of her exhibition, Rites of Renewal – In Kinship with Earth, from 2:15–3:00 p.m. at the Marjorie Evans Gallery at Sunset Center.
The exhibition’s opening celebration will take place March 20 from 5:00–7:00 p.m.
