Howl-o-ween" is going to be paws-itively fun and provide a Doggone Good time for the community with the help of Max’s Helping Paws Foundation, which provides financial assistance to people with pets in a health crisis. Max's Howl-o-Ween Dog Paw-ty and Costume Contest returns after a two-year hiatus to Carmel Plaza on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 2-5PM to support Max's Helping Paws.
This is the event to show off your pup's Halloween or Poodle Day costume. Enter the contest and win several prizes or just enjoy the colorful costumed parade of pups. In addition, photographer Liz Stavrinides, critically acclaimed photographer and author of “Miracle Dogs and Extraordinary Dogs” and resident photographer at event co-sponsor Diggidy Dog, will be taking pup portraits for content entrants and others with all proceeds to benefit Max’s Helping Paws.
Costume contest entrants can choose up to 2 categories for their pets and the winner in each category will be entered into Diggidy Dog’s Best of Howl-O-Ween Grand Prize. Special guest emcee and judges will be announced.
