About Carmel Youth Center
Founded in 1949, Bing Crosby started the Carmel Youth Center as a local organization that provides services to children from all over the Monterey Peninsula. The center teaches our children the important lessons in life. It is a nurturing environment that boosts curiosity, builds confidence, and helps to develop the life skills to grow up in this ever changing and uncertain world. While Crosby was the guiding force behind the center, many community members actively participate and continue to provide programs to meet the emerging needs of young people in our community.
