CELEBRATION OF GRATITUDE! by Interfaith Outreach of Carmel & our Joining Hands Benefit Shop olunteers

Join Interfaith Outreach of Carmel (IOC) as we celebrate our gratitude for you and others with whom we join hands to reduce homelessness - especially all of you wonderful people who bring in donations, our fabulous volunteers at Joining Hands Benefit Shop, our faith communities, the agencies we grant funding to for housing to reduce homelessness in Monterey County, and of course those individuals and families who are served. 

Inspirational music, speakers of various faiths, and poetry readings will highlight our 15^th Annual “Gratitude Celebration” Sunday, November 19, at the Carmel Mission Basilica. There is no admission fee and the celebration is open to the public, the 2 p.m event will feature performances by the Mission’s Schola Cantorum and the Monterey Peninsula Gospel Community Choir. A coffee/tea, pie and dessert reception in Crespi Hall will follow the program.
 
Interfaith Outreach of Carmel (IOC) is a non-profit charitable organization comprised of sponsoring faith communities joined together to reduce homelessness and to address spiritual and practical needs in Monterey County. Under IOC’s umbrella, funds are raised through the operation of Joining Hands Benefit Shop in Carmel. Each year the funds raised are given in grants to local agencies who provide housing for the unhoused on the peninsula. Included in the management of the retail shop are volunteers from local faith-based organizations as well as other members of our community.
