Carmel Jewish Food Festival Returns July 26 to Celebrate Jewish Cuisine, Culture and Community
Free admission at Congregation Beth Israel; online pre-orders open June 28, a portion of proceeds benefits hunger relief, and volunteers are welcome
CARMEL, Calif. (June 27, 2026) — The Carmel Jewish Food Festival returns Sunday, July 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Congregation Beth Israel, 5716 Carmel Valley Road, with a free, open-to-all celebration of Jewish cuisine, culture and community in the Carmel Valley.
Admission is free and no ticket is required. Guests may come and go throughout the day, purchasing authentic Jewish dishes prepared by community volunteers, listening to DJ and taking part in cultural experiences across the synagogue grounds. A curated gift shop booth will offer artsy, culturally inspired items for sale.
Pre-Orders Open June 28
For guests who like to plan ahead, online pre-orders open June 28 and run through July 19. A limited menu of festival favorites may be reserved online for pickup Saturday, July 25, the day before the festival. Pre-orders are not available on festival day. The optional pre-order has been a popular convenience in recent years.
A Shared Commitment to Hunger Relief
In keeping with the festival’s spirit of community, a portion of proceeds will benefit JCM United and World Central Kitchen, supporting hunger-relief efforts close to home and around the world.
Volunteers Welcome — No Experience Needed
Organizers are seeking volunteers to help with baking, cooking and preparation in the weeks leading up to the festival, and with assistance on festival day. No experience is necessary, and volunteers do not need to be Jewish. Everyone is welcome. Sign-up details are available at jewishfoodfestivalcarmel.org.
Event details and updates are posted at jewishfoodfestivalcarmel.org.
