American Traditions Concert at Church in the Forest

Jubal and Cathryn present a program that celebrates the extraordinary diversity of American song. American music is a tapestry woven from many influences — sacred and secular, popular and classical, intimate and theatrical.

Jubal will sing songs that he loves -- spirituals and gospel that grew out of faith and resilience, jazz and pop that gave voice to city streets, and sweeping ballads of Broadway and Hollywood. Each style tells part of the American story — carrying the dreams, struggles, and hopes of generations.

You will hear the American story unfold: how prayer becomes song, how cities inspire dreams, and how love and loss find expression in melody. Every voice has a place, and every story can be told.

Tickets will be sold on Eventbrite and at the door. Suggested donations $25 and up as you are able.
