Bach\n\n						 \n\n						 \n\n						Friday\, April 18\, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.\n\n						 \n\n						Church of the Wayfarer \n\n						Lincoln at Seventh\, Carmel CA\n\n						 \n\n						*NO FEE. DONATIONS ACCEPTED.\n\n						 \n\n						For the last twenty years of his life\, Bach worked as a Lutheran church musician and teacher. He composed modern music (at the time) for the church\, but the focus was on the age-old truths from the Bible and the liturgical season. Music for Good Friday is taken from Bach's many compositions based on familiar chorales and texts used in the German Lutheran church during Holy Week. Come to hear just a few\, or all of them\, and reflect on the message and hope of Good Friday.
