About Us

Stationæry is a neighborhood restaurant in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea operated by Anthony & Alissa Carnazzo. Tucked between San Carlos and Mission Streets in the San Carlos Square, this intimate 34 seat space is a haven for locals. Offering breakfast, lunch, and specialty coffee, we celebrate comforting flavors with elegant presentation. We primarily source from Monterey & Santa Cruz County farms and ranches, according to what is fresh and in season.
Stationary with an ''A'' means unmoving, present, and constant. Stationery with an ''E'' is writing paper, especially with matching envelopes (obviously). We decided to capture the two meanings with the ''Æ'' (ash), creating Stationæry, our restaurant and retail shop ~ place to relax and recharge with a culinary and shopping experience to match.
