About Us

Inventive East-West Seafood & Curated Wine List at Fly Fish Grill.
Stepping into the Flying Fish Grill is like a visit to a Tokyo restaurant, without the added inconvenience of an airline journey. The warm, softly lit wood interior is comforting and calming, and is a perfect backdrop to the traditional Japanese menu items in addition to the more modern, California-inspired selections.

''We concentrate on an Asian/Fusion influence, mostly focusing on fish,'' says owner Jan Prikryl. Most of the fish we serve is wild-caught, but we also serve locally farmed abalone.'' Indeed, it's no surprise that Fly Fish Grill's signature dish—and one of its most popular—is the pan fried Almond Crusted Sea Bass, served over whipped potatoes with a Chinese cabbage and rock shrimp stir-fry.

Jan is the restaurant's second owner but is no stranger to the level of food and service Flying Fish Grill is famous for. ''I worked here as a server for ten years before the first owners trusted me to carry on the journey that they created,'' Jan says. ''Our guests often tell me that they're most impressed with our consistency, that we've not changed very much in the 26 years we've been here. And they love our friendly, excellent service and relaxing, cozy ambience.'' Reservations are highly recommended.

Dinner daily starting at 5:00pm
