Experienced Deli Clerk (Carmel-by-the-Sea)
The deli clerk's responsibilities include: preparing sandwiches; preparing new entrees, and serving and preparing salads and anti-pastas; operating an oven and meat slicer, grinder; preparing meats; preparing cheeses; carrying out duties to open and close the deli; and being willing and able to work well as a team, and independently. Candidate must have a desire to cook; work at an outdoor patio grill M-Su 11am-2pm; sell prime meats and Boar’s Head deli products; and seafood. This position may require wearing different hats, such as working behind a cash register, on occasion. Cashiering entails providing customer service; working with codes for deli, meat, sandwich and other items and handling money, stocking shelves, and more.
Must have ServSafe certificate (please see below).
